Suddenly, it was over…

If I could tell time to go pause a moment, I will not hesitate on choosing those ones with you. If I could predict the future, I would create my own blissful life with you in it.

But only if I could…

Only if you were still there. Only if you’d care. Only if you’d call my name. Only if you’d do the same.

But you’re not.

It started with a typical morning. A usual morning for a good day to spend. Breakfast. Work. Grind. Oh, you forgot, I wasn’t in it.

I want to be part of that, part of yours.. I really do. I wanna be the one you look at right when you open your eyes… again.

I guess you were tired. You were exhausted of how everything is going downhill. You just suddenly stopped because you wanted more, more of a simpler life..

An elegant woman of character with exquisite beliefs that best fits yours. An ideal woman you dreamed of where you’d be offering the world with bended knee…

But I wasn’t that woman. I just look at you from afar, I could not hold you from where I stand. And yet, I’m glad. I’m seeing you wave. You shouted back saying you’d look back and remember. I was smiling gazingly and think of how much I taught you to always choose the better and create the life you’ve ever dreamed of. The moment of a lifetime. The moment you’ve been waiting for.

You started walking.. steps away. You turned your back… then I figured, suddenly, it was over.

Suddenly, mine wasn’t mine anymore. Suddenly, the promising words were buried underneath the pain. The pain of memories. The joy of flashbacks. The excitement of coincidences. What a lovely past it is.

…and then there’s your suddenly.
